He completed a master’s degree in surgical sciences from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree in trauma and Orthopaedic from Edge Hill University in collaboration with Sir John Charnley institute in Whittington hospital. He has interest in teaching, and he completed a post graduate degree in medical education from Staffordshire University.

He is an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Instructor for the Royal College of Surgeons.
